Common faults
Is your Riello burner showing any of these symptoms?
These are the most common issues we hear about. In every case, have a technician check it: working on a burner without the right instruments can be dangerous.
It locks out and won't start
The control box goes into lockout at start-up or during operation.
Ignition failure
No spark, or the flame doesn't establish within the safety time.
Unstable flame or flame loss
Pulsation, flame lift-off or intermittent shutdowns.
Smoke, soot or odor
Signs of poor combustion that lowers efficiency.
Won't modulate or switch to second stage
The burner doesn't follow the temperature or pressure demand.
Noise or vibration
Abnormal noise from the fan or the combustion.
